Testimonials

'Louise volunteered her time, skills and expertise to offer participants of our support program for LGBTQIA+ people seeking asylum free access to yoga and meditation.

At all times, Louise acted respectfully and with kindness and compassion when interacting with participants, many of whom have profound experiences of trauma in their past. Louise was innovative in the way she instructed and practiced, taking into consideration many of our participants speak English as another language and come from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.

She was more than willing to adapt her sessions to the needs of the participants and feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We hope to work with Louise further in the future!'

'Lou taught a morning yoga session at the 2019 Kennedy's Creek Music Festival amongst the gumtrees in South-West Victoria. She tailored the class perfectly for a festival setting. Many rolled straight out of bed after very little sleep and with sore heads in tow, but Lou was extremely gentle and nursed us back to health. A few people even mentioned how much better they felt after the class. Lou was the calming presence we needed that morning to recenter and take some time out before getting back into the festivities of the second day'

'Lou's yoga sessions are invigorating, calming and joyful experiences. The slow and nurturing pace allows you to feel growth and relaxation all in the same session.

With our group of teenage girls, Lou's tailored and caring approach worked beautifully for each individual going through such a formative stage of their life. Feeling supported and safe allowed each girl to relax and not be self-conscious.

I always walk away feeling taller, peaceful and ready to tackle the day.'
